Big catch!

We headed out to Junction City Pond this morning. With our good friends. We were there for about an hour in a half and they decided to go home. Nothing was biting. So off to the car and they drove away.

We started our car and decided to stay and try some more. We came home with Ten rainbow trout. I'd say it was good to try again. It was Adan and Elijah's first catch! And of course Elijah my 5 year old brought home the biggest one!

What a good way to spend the morning.

Can't wait till dinner.

Fishing

We went fishing!

Wow its been so long. I haven't fished since I was a teenager.

It was Adan and Elijah's first time. They both got new poles for there birthdays.

We headed out to Junction City Pond. Only 20 minutes from Eugene. It was really pretty out there. It was pretty cold too.

We weren't there very long. Everyone was leaving. Just too cold they would say. No fish are biting.

We decited to leave. We get to the car and turned on the heater. We sat there for awhile warming up. We looked up and saw an Osprey. He just kept on circling up high over the pond. A moment later he dove strait down. Down into the pond. He come out with a huge fish Flapping between his beak. Our boys were just amazed. At least someone caught a fish today.

We'll attempt it again.
