Norwest Fly Fest

So Brandon, the kids and I went to the NorWest Fly Fest Saturday. Brandon is so much in love with anything Aviation if you haven't already know that by know.

We signed Adan up for the Young Eagles flight first thing. With in a half hour he got to go up in a Piper Cherokee. The flight was only 30 minutes long. Adan got to ride up front this time. The last two years he didn't get the chance. The controls were handed over to Adan in the air. He got to fly a plane!!! WOW, just wow. I wish I had this opportunity when I was younger.

EEA Young Eagles Program has been developed to get young people excited about aviation. More than 170,000 people belong to the EEA with chapters in 50 States. If you know a kid between the ages they can become a Young Eagle. You get to learn about the plane, the interior of the plane, aeronautical chart and to identify reference points. Kids get there name in the world's largest logbook on display at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, WI. Oh did I mention its FREE!

To learn more about the Young Eagle Program got to:

Adan says: "Everyone should do this!"
